Accidents can occur all the time, however, the main cause of accidents often comes from slippery floors. Therefore, choosing high quality flooring combined with a slip resistance option is significant.

Noticeably, Vinyl tiles nowadays always mention the “R value” as its importance is to show a tested slip resistance level in each Vinyl tile genre, which is certified by a ‘Ramp test’ (testing in different steepness), and use ‘R (R value)’ as an indicator. The R value is counted from the lowest (R9) to the highest (R13); higher number means higher slip resistance level. Our Armstrong Vinyl tile offers up to R12 which enables users to mix and match their own areas properly and freely.
